Write to us with as much or as little as you know — a route name, a month, a worry about altitude. A planner who has walked the routes replies within one working day, usually with questions before answers.

Shape the itinerary

You work with one named person from first email to airport pickup. Together you bend the route around your dates, fitness and curiosity — extra acclimatization, a quieter ridge alternative, a rest day where it earns its keep. Revisions are unlimited and free.

Secure the booking

When the plan fits, a 20% deposit confirms it. The paperwork is ours to carry from here.

• Date changes are free until 45 days before departure.
• The balance is payable in Kathmandu after your briefing — never before you have met us.
• If we ever cancel a scheduled departure, you choose a full refund or a free transfer.

The briefing

The day before you walk, we meet at the office in Thamel — or on a video call for fly-in starts. You meet your guide, check gear against a written list, collect your permits and walk the route day by day on the map.

On the trail

The mountain days run on rules we don't bend, because they are the reason fifteen years of trips have come home well.

• One guide for every four trekkers, one porter for every two — loads weighed to a 20 kg limit.
• Above 3,000 m, sleeping altitude rises by roughly 500 m a day, with acclimatization days built in — never bolted on.
• Your guide logs pulse-oximeter readings for every trekker each evening above 3,000 m and holds the authority to turn the group around.
• Every group carries a satellite communicator and a full first-aid kit; helicopter evacuation runs through your required insurance cover, arranged by our Kathmandu desk.

After the trek

Back in Kathmandu we debrief over coffee: what worked, what we could do better, where you might walk next. Your route notes stay on file, and returning guests get first call on new departures.
