Walking in Kanchenjunga
Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest mountain, rises in Nepal's far north-east on the border with Sikkim. The trek to its base camps is a long, wild journey through some of the country's most biodiverse forest — home to red panda and a deep Limbu and Rai cultural landscape — into high glacial valleys few trekkers ever see.
This is a restricted area reached by a long approach, best done as a full expedition with camping support on the higher stages. We are building out guided Kanchenjunga departures — in the meantime, talk to us about a tailor-made trip to the north and south base camps.
